once again i have hit a snag so to speak, wired my obd1 male plugs onto my obdo harness using a friends jumper harness as a guide, well i have a set of wires that look rather important and i want to verify what they are for. there is a number of wires (3-4) inside and orange sheath in the passenger floorboard and they are not used at all it seems, they were not hooked up via jumper harness but look important, they also have bare wire wrapped around them inside the sheath, the car is a 91 dx hatch

hm i ran into a similar problem, i also own a 90dx. went from dpfi to mpfi ended up with extra 3 plugs with 2-3 wires going to them, when u read it in the faq it says they are not needed. im guessing u did that conversion if not then idk how u would finish ur obd1. when ur done with the dpfi to mpfi ur car is no longer a dx its an si, going obd1 is even easier
