Hmmmmm weird. I would just make sure that the spark isn't creating an arc. I had this same problem on my Dad's Mitsu. Galant. All these time I thought it was a bad coil or spark plug, but it wasn't. I found a crack on the spark plug wire tube. It was caused from oil seeping into the spark plug tube hole. All the spark created was just being absorbed by the engine block instead of the spark plug.

So check for cracks, residue in the spark plug tube hole.

Have you checked your TPS to make sure it's not faulty? Also could try looking at the MAP sensor and see if that's working properly

So your saying that you had them do all the work, cap, rotor, wires plugs, etc and they sent you out of the shop with an apparent misfire problem. That sir would be some horrible service. The honda service manual have the nice trouble tree to follow when diagnosing problems. There should be no reason why they cant pinpoint the problem.

The TPS could affect it. You could also have a bad ECU!
I would suggest searching for a genuine honda service manual!
Or ALL DATA.
You might want to double check and make sure the plug wires a routed correctly.

Also just to let you know, finding cracks are really hard in the spark plug boot. So, look really hard and look for abnormality.

Take it back and bitch. Get mad cuss throw a trashcan, do what ever to show them that you just paid to have the problem fixed.
make sure you bring you receipt. Its sounds like they didnt even diagnose anything. It sounds like they were just parts replacing. Tell them you want them to fix it or you want your money back on the labor charge!
