I bought a swap because the motor in my 90 civic has bad rod bearings . I have from a 94civic dx a d15 with trans , ecu and engine harness . What else will i need ? Just the interior harness to match the engine harness ?

but if i want to use the intake manifold from the 94 then i need the 94 harness with the gray clips . and the 90 does not use injectors so that harness does not have connectors for injectors .
the fan switch on the 90 is on the block. No provision on the 94 block. youll have to use the 90 water transfer tube and fit it to the 94 themostat housing. (where the fan switch is located on a 94) and make the 2 wires longer. Ita alot easier to use the 90 harness and intake. the 90 only has 2 injectors the 94 has 4. Not worth it unless your going VTEC or B18 LS. Also, youll have to transfer the ft motor mount bracket from the 90 block to the 94. The bolt spread is different.
No problem! believe it or not, I just did the same swap last Saturday. It was still fresh in my head! If you have any other questions concerning the swap, let me know, Ill help the best I can.

I would have just bought a 88-90 d15 , but i found the on on craigslist for 200 with everything . My buddy sugessted a obd0 - obd1 or obd2 conversion harness . so that i could use the 94 harness and manifold , im not sure if that is even an option , tho he seems pretty sure . Did you have any problems with the water transfer tubes ? or any other problems at all ?
I couldnt use the 94 transfer tube because it had an extra hose outlet. So I had to grind the "ear" down on the 90 to fit the 94 t-stat housing. That was it! As far as the rest, I used the 90 pulleys, brackets, distributor, intake, and exhaust manifolds. I used the 90 transmission because of the cable clutch. I kept it as simple as possible. Blew it out in 3 hours. I used the 90 timing belt covers too. The 94 covers interfered with the 90 motor mount bracket
