Default ?WTF? no low beams, I cant figure it out!

Ok, so last night I went outside to start my 02 CRV because it was freaking cold. I turn on the light then I thought maybe I should turn it off so I did. I went back inside and when we were ready to leave I turned on the lights and nothing!!! High beams work so I drove with the high beams on. Any thoughts?

Every single light works, I made a trip 30 mins earlier to go get a pizza and the low beams worked and now it doesnt. I'm stumped.

Tested the bulbs its self by jumping them and both high and low light up.
I tried wiggling the wires and connectors.
I checked under hood and under dash fuses and relays that I thought I should of check, I even unplugged and switched around the R and L headlight relays.

Any fuses you guys recommend me checking? I searched all over google and everything and a lot of people seems to be having the same problem but no answer.

FRUSTRATON!!!

help.

i would have to say it sounds like a bad headlight switch or the red/white wire at the headlight/signal switch might have a bad connection cause the connector to get burnt. also the wire will turn brown by the connector. the early 02 civics had a recall for this but i have been seeing other honda come into my dealership for service and i have used the parts for that recall to fix the problem. good luck.

let me know what you fined when you take it apart. you can also pm me.

Let me know if I am wrong but,

--if it is the switch, the headlight relay wouldn't click would it? Going to use a dvom and test light on it when I get a chance. My relay clicks but I dont know if that would make a difference.

I'll let you know what I come up with.

OMG I fixed it. The plug in to the switch was burnt. I unplugged it to look jump it and I found it so I cleaned it out with a pick, wiggled some wires and plugged it in and ta-da, it worked. It was pure luck but hey it worked for me.

Make sure to replace the wire and the pin as well, so this doesn't happen in the future
