Hi, I know this might be a stupid question, but will a 97 2door dx civic trunk fit on a 97 2door ex civic car? It should fit right? I got a friend that tried it and the trunk lines up perfect, but there is like a 2 inch gap where the trunk is suppose to lock in place, so the trunk would lock down.

Help?

i would think it would, i dont think theres difference besides maybe a optional spoiler like a 5th gen

 

Coupe trunks fit coupes.

Sedan trunks fit sedans.

Trim level does not matter.

If there's a gap, you need to adjust fitment.
