was this an optional addition on the 2000 civic ex or standard?

it was an option and personally, i think wingless looks best

 

when i purchased my EM1, it came with the stock wing.
I do prefer the look of wingless as well, however...
after I see my car and been driving it for a while,
the look of the car with wing started to grow on me.
I personally like it now.

However, its up to you whether u want it or not.

 

It was a dealer installed option. Check the marketplace for one.

There is no such thing as an "Si wing. There is the "low" 96-98 wing and the "high" 99-00 wing.

 

but si was introduced again in 99-00 thats wer the connection comes from lol. easier for people i guess
