Clutch cable help..
I seriously cannot see how this is going to work.... b18a1 in a 88 Crx Si .....when i pull up on the release arm it reahces fine but it wont adjust down .....the cable holds the arm up ...you know what i mean ?? Am i doing something wrong here
come on ..little help please ..i can pull up on the release arm and get it to work but it wont go back down because the cable is holding it up ....what am i doing wrong
i think you need to use a 90-93 ls cable, at least that is what i was told and bought for my swap which is not in just yet though

well it worked with my b16 ..why wouldnt it work with b18 ?
OK....When i installed my clutch ..I want to make sure i had it facing the right way ...I had it so that the clutch was touching the flywheel surface ....Please tell me thats right

was the throw out bearing replaced? was the shifter arm and spring messed with?
i am just trying to narrow down the possibilities
The disc can only fit one way into the pressure plate, so don't worry about messing that up.

Yeah thats right about the clutch.
The stock cable will work. I took off the bracket it goes into, put the cable in it, then bolted the bracket to the tranny. I only used it for about a week. It is much better with a 90-93 cable. More adjustment.
