Default Removing connectors from Plug

Hey I was wondering how to pop the connectors out of this particular plug. This is the Wiper plug for the wiper motor for a 96 Honda Civic. It does not seem to be like some of the other with the click tab where you can push that down and then push the connector out. Has anyone ever popped these out before.

I'm doing a wire-tuck and I don't want to have to cut and splice wires to run it where I want to. Popping them out and then back in plug after I run the wire would be much more desirable. Any help and advice on how these are held into place inside that particular plug would be awesome.

Thanks in Advance.

Most car wiring terminals/plugs use two retaining systems, a main retainer and a secondary retainer.

Better pix and from more angles of that plug would help.

That type of terminal, [female quick release] uses two types of main retainers, most common is the metal "tab" on the terminal itself, located on the bottom of the terminal, [as looking at it in your pix] there will be a small "slot" on the plug for a depinning tool to slide in and push the metal tab on the terminal flat so it will slide past the "stop".

The second most common main retainer is a plastic "tab" in the plug itself, it will sit into the top of the terminal, as shown in your pix, a pick can be used to lift the plastic "tab" out of the terminal.

There are many types of secondary retainers, I would have to see more pix of the plug to even guess what type, [if any] that plug has. 94

This plug has a retainer in the back, a clearish white plastic piece, take that off first.

Then like everyone else says you need to like get in there and get the metal over the plastic tab that keeps it in.

Sorry to bump an old thread but did you ever find out how to do this? I am in the middle of a wire tuck and really need this info. I don't want to have to cut + solder these wires if I can just disconnect them and plug them back in after they have been re-routed. I've searched on how to de-pin this type of connector with no luck. Anyone?
