Default boots that don't squeak..

So I have oxtar TCS boots that are a little over a year old. They offer good protection(crash tested) but they squeak non stop. I've tried to lube them up but they still squeak like 5 minutes later. So I'm looking for a new set of raceboots that are a bit quieter. Money can be spent but I don't want to go overboard.

The only reason the squeaking bothers me is because I where these boots every time I ride and well it just gets annoying to walk around. Thanks

I remember my TCS's and everyone always knew when I was coming lol. The only other pair of boots I had were Sidi B2's and they were quiet, however I don't think they offered as much protection as the TCS's and didn't breath.

I love my Alpinestars SMX-4 boots, they're very comfortable and quiet too.

They're $200 new, but I picked up a basically-new pair for $130 shipped on eBay.

Another + for the SMX-4 as well. I have walked and worked in them for 8 + hours before and there comfy.

My Pumas squeak like hell too. Lubing doesn't seem to help.

I love my pair. Only bad thing is the toe sliders don't last too long.

SMX-4s are race boots? Naw, they really just have velcro and a zipper on the side and they aren't too bad. Most people didn't even notice them. After a while it got old though. Sometimes I would tuck some sneakers into my backpack and change at work. The only problem is that sometime the toe sliders can be kicked off.

All boots are going to squeak and make sounds when walking, some more than others, but there are plenty of "street/sport" boots that are a lot quieter than race boots.

I wear my Sidi Strava Evo daily and nobody seems to notice them, and I can wear them all day long without feeling uncomfortable.
