Reverse Lights stuck on?
Well it's cold out and I'd like a half assed way to resolve this issue until it gets warm, or until I can use someone's garage to actually fix the problem.
94 Accord EX, 5spd
As soon as the power is given to the car, the reverse lights will come on regardless if in a gear or not. I'm thinking the sensor that plugs into the top of the tranny is bad, but I'd rather not screw with it out in the wind and snow. I've tried pulling the fuse under the drivers side, and while that works, it also seems to kill my speedometer and tach. Any other half assed ways of doing this that require little to no effort? Or am I stuck with actually fixing the problem?

It's probably the reverse switch (i think thats what its called) on the tranny. Mine did that too, but would turn off in 5th gear. Just get a replacement and you should be good to go.

Pulling fuse is bad idea; you need cluster functions
