has anyone ever done this dash swap or is it possible, i dont know much about the accords. my friend wants a 97 dash in his 92 after i swapped a integra dash in my civic

 

Sorry, but no; it will not fit.
All '94 thru '97 Accord dashes will physically (amongst themselves) fit.
Among those the DX.LX, SE and Value pack Accords will all interchange (Automatics for Automatics) (Manual for Manual). The EX cluster has some different functionality and should remain with EX's.
The '92 is a different generation Accord (1990 thru 1993) (and thus the '94 thru '97 clusters will not fit)

You will notice from the illustrations, the '90-93 is taller, has a different shape and has different mounting tabs

i just dont understand your response....you say no it will not fit, then the next sentence is 94-97 will physically fit.........then you start talking about the instrument cluster.....well if you say a 94-97 dash will physically fit in the 92, then the cluster from that dash will fit in the dash.......but then again your first sentence says no it wont fit....can someone clear this mumbo for me?

NO it will not fit.
Clusters are interchangable within generations, ie:
94 will fit 95,96,and 97
and
90 will fit 91,92, and 93
But
90 will not fit 94 ect
