Me and my co-worker have been going at it for a while now and its seems as if he couldnt beat until he put in the p2r tbs. 2nd gear, 40mph roll and he just takes off. 2nd round i take the lead for about 3sec and he goes by again. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMM

the engines stockwise is very similar and the mods are similar as well. all i can really say is maybe practice launching better. feather it out instead of dumping the clutch.

That does seem like much. I have an '03 and I just hit 52k miles and I thought I drove alot. I got my car a year and 2 months ago with 32k miles bone stock.

 

average miles driver per driver is about 15k miles per year. it's what your car insurance average is based off of.

 

I think it's actually 12k miles per year based on contracts I've seen for car leases.

Mods are irrelevant, if you actually had Kpro and tuned for these mods you would see a dramatic difference in performance.

You cant tell me that you havent pushed it against some other dude just for the hell of it. Its cool though i understand. that was actually the first in a long time that i actually did that on the streets.

And as for my miles, hell yeah thats a $#it load of miles. I had hard times for the first few years when bought it. But thats my excuse to my wife to do a rebuild. Oh and i forgot to mention that he had a 4dr.

 

I bought my 03 EP3 last June with 36XXX on it and it is already at 67XXX a year and a half later. I hate myself for putting that much mileage on it that quick. It is all highway... I commute 16 miles one way for work every day and had to commute 150 miles round trip every day for work for 6 weeks. That is what really killed it.

As for your race... I have pulled on bone stock Type S RSXs with my bolt on EP3. Kid in my town has an 05 Type S and we have done rolling pulls and I have beat him every time and my EP3 only has bolt ons. I have even pulled on FG civic Sis too from a roll. Not sure what the deal is. I guess people in my area can't drive....

I worked at the track man, thats where it should be. As far as being on the street, i'm smarter than taking a stock Civic with alignment issues to 100mph around other people, as well as not knowing the history an an extensive mechanical inspection......what if a ball joint blew or something, it could mean death.
