I hope it's ok for me to be posting this here. I've posted it on supraforums and azht already because I am in desperation to come to a conclusion before the rest of my body pieces come in.

As far as I can remember I have never been able to pick which sideskirts I like because truthfully I don't really like any of them, but need to run them to balance my front and rear bumper.

I've narrowed it down to 3 options I feel comfortable with puting on my supra.

First (modified Do-luck)
Basically a do-luck style skirt with the bomex air vents.

Second (modified trial)
Will be removing the lip piece that comes up and along the fender. Refer to the black supra to see how it will be put on.

To this point I've kept a lot of the plans for this car hush hush but feel it necessary to ask for help or this thing will never get done. As far as body work goes it will have the trial rear bumper, doluck wide rear fenders, ccw sp550s and a whifbitz front. Wheels will be black, car will be pearl black.

The black version is a photoshopped copy of the prototype. Sideskirts will not be molded, seams will just be filled, lines will still be there.

but I think that lip thing that goes up onto the front fender really gives a nice touch to the design-

its different, and follows that straight line going from the rear bumper to the rear of the side skirt to the top of that lip thing you said you wanted to remove-

 

also-

just another thought similar to the white car with the trial rear bumper-

how its painted back in the bottom middle portion-

it would look really original if you painted the middle portion a gunmetal type of metallic dark grey in contrast with the black paint you are going to have

 

Perhaps its just hard for me to tell from the pictures, but with the modifications that you described I don't see much difference between the two. Also, you say you have three options, but then only show 2, but your picture captions say first and third... so is there another option to choose from?

 

I vote for a return to the OEM body pieces.

Aftermarket kit's suck.

 

I have to agree. But, to answer your question...

I voted for the Trail, BUT only because I like how it looks on the white one posted. The blue one with the Bomex front looks kinda crappy to me. But then again, I never liked that front end. And the black one is photoshopped so it's hard to really appreciate it.
Anyways, good luck with your final choice.
