FS:1996 Civic DX 3DR, B16A2, Type R Transmission
Third owner, Clean title 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback DX.
I purchased the car with 70k miles on stock engine in 2000.
Chassy/Body now have 125.5k
Car is Roma Red. It is very clean inside and out for a 1996. Has clean CARFAX. Only bodywork ever done was the passenger side door was painted and a new door skin was put on thanks to some thieves that pryed open the sheet metal on the doorskin to gain access to the door lock. Fender and QTR panel were blended. Other then that no other body panels have ever been touched or removed. No accidents. All other paint is 100% original
Car has normal dents/dings for a 1996 but nothing major. Garaged for the last 8 years when not being driven. Car has never seen a dragstrip or any type of abuse. Plenty of people can vouch for it.
The motor swap, transmission swap and clutch were all done by my friend Evan Herling, Owner of 360 Imports (360imports.net) Swap is 100% OEM. Probably one of the cleanest swaps around. The internals of this motor have never been touched. Only bolt-ons. Car dynoed 147whp and 107ftp torque. When the swap was done I purchased a brand new OEM EX Engine Harness which was plug and play besides extending 4 sensor/plug wires a few inches. All wires were soldered, heat shrinked etc. Car is running a Stock 1996 Honda Del Sol P30 B16A ECU which was plug and play. Purchased from Import Auto Salvage.
Regular tune-ups and maintenance were always done.
It will need a T-Belt/Waterpump done soon

I have receipts for the motor, clutch, trans, and all tune-up/performence parts/replacement parts totalling 8-9k..Alot more $$$ went into the car..

OEM Type R Transmission purchased new from Len @ Baranco Acura, 26k
Type R clutch, Fidanza flywheel 26k ( Clutch, Flywheel, and new Transmission were all installed with 60k on the motor, rear main seal was also replaced)

New thermostat, slave cylinder, fuel filter
Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, transmission fluid change and wipers were done in the last 30 days with all OEM parts, Have receipt
AEM Short Ram Intake, Comptech Headers, Apexi World Sport Exhaust
15' Konig Heliums, Bronze wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Size 195-50-15 65% tread left
R-1 Coliovers, KYB AGX Adjustable struts
Rear SI Swaybar, Polished Tie bar
GSR Leather Front Seats, GSR floor mats
OEM SIR II Lip Spoiler
Type R shift boot and shift ****.
Climate control lights up amber courtesy of SI bulb covers to match cluster lights.
Have all original stock interior which is mint condition.
Reason for sale is I need a vehicle to tow my boat, and travel the mountain passes
Car gets 28-30mpg!

Not sure man..I need a truck to tow my boat but on the otherhand spend alot of time in the mountains snowboarding so I was thinking possibly a Subaru WRX....
