Rubber Floormats
Does anyone use rubber floormats instead of their oem ones? As summer is winding down, I'm thinking about the winter and how I always hate stepping on the oem mats with mud-caked shoes. I went to Wal_Mart and picked up some SUV mats but now I'm thinking theyre way too thick and I over did it. Anyone have suggestions?
I use those SUV rubber floormats year round. My car is a 94 and it looks like it stepped off the showroom floor mostly due to those mats. Here's a Pic of what my car usually looks like during the winter and you'll see why I use them

About a month after I bought my car I was in AutoZone and saw a 4 piece mat combo for 9.99 and said f ck it so They have never left my car in the 21 months I have owned it and let me say that they have come in handy a few times.

I use the Weathertech mats in the winter. They have nice thick ribs to hold the snow. They would work fine for mud in the summer, if you go muddy places.

I have an extra pair of black front Weathertech mats for the ITR that I only used once (one time getting in and out of the car), still look brand new, that I'll sell for 30 percent off the Weathertech price plus shipping. (I got them for the R, then decided to sell another car in the household and transferred the used Weathertech mats from the other car to my R.)
