89 Crx Hf/D15B swap... won't start
After i swapped my 1989 CRX HFto OBD1 D15B, I started getting electrical problems. It used to crank up and i had to hold the throttle for a few seconds until the CEL came on. then, the car would drive normal. Now, it won't start at all. the CEL stays on from the moment i turn the ignition over and I get a CEL 6. I used to get a 6 and 7, but the other one went away, the map sensor is not wired at all, i have the 3 wires hanging there, how do i wire that up? It looks like the resistor box is still connected to the injectors but the injectors are from the OBD1 engine, somehow the car ran fine, even a little rich. I know it's a lot to work with but if you guys could take a few seconds to analyze it I would really appreciate it. THANKS
Yes, the injectors have power. It started today and i drove it to the gas station. It only stays on if i hold the throttle at over 1500 rpms. i already removed the resistor box to the injectors. Now i have CEL 5, 6, 16 (5-Map sensor, 6-water temp sensor, 16-fuel injectors, probably because i removed the resistor box). Why does my throttle body stay closed?
