Default Junkyard Carbon

Well..i walk out to my car this morning only to see my basketball hoop laying on the hood. I toss the **** off and see this..

PISSED! So I decide im going to take a trip to the junkyard and see what they have, so I get there and he said there MAY be a hood on this accord but its a burgundy car. SO, I walk down to the car and low and behold, the car has a carbon fiber hood! WOOT, I check it out and there is only a crack about 4 inches long on the left side of the hood. Anyway, I go back to the front and offer him 40 bucks, and the hood is mine! Yay lol

Here it is on, Yes it does need to be adjusted I know. I had no coat on and it was 35 with the wind today so this is the best i did for now haha

and 2 others just because

Comments welcome, Keep the hate to yourself..

Also, the car is gettin dropped after winter! So dont tell me it needs to be lol and the cover is off my corner light. That is getting fixed too

and a few other parts i have waiting to put on..

Looks like you got some nice little bits going on the car.....bump for Ct.

I'd rather take that busted carbon hood then that bent and scratched one.....

Nice finds. On the hood, ask them to wet sand and re-clear it.

ahh.. A good bodyshop will never say the impossible. In my opinion I would cut out the area of the under shell where it is cracked. Fiberglass the bottom and re-fiberglass the shell together. OR you can paint just the sides to match the bodycolor. Many methods, many ways. Call a customizing shop with some experience and they will tell you how they would do it right!
