will I bottom out a shock if my bumpstop is between the top mount and upper spring hat? not inside the spring? I trimmed it for travel since im running shorter /stiffer springs and put it back together incorrectly (BEER lol)

also is there a company that makes slim bumpstops that are rubber or poly? thx
