Default Momo Steering Wheel and Hub

Im currently thinking about buying and installing a Momo steering wheel and hub. I would like someone to tell me how hard the install is and exactly what is required. Has anyone done this? What do i need to do? I really want to install this. Thank you

It's cake.

You just need a 17mm socket, extension, and some allen wrenches. The only troubles you might encounter are getting the horn to work and trying to pull the stock wheel. Just check out a puller from your local parts store.

I think there is a thread in the FAQs.

I don't have my horn hooked up, btw.

why would you need a puller? i've heard of people having this problem, but i've pulled the steering wheel off of numerous Honda's, at least 8, and have never had a problem getting one off. am i just getting lucky or are other people getting unlucky?

and actually i believe it's a 19mm socket, not a 17mm. you will also need a thin flathead screw driver and a phillips head screw driver. the flat head is needed to pry out the square Honda logo in the middle of the steering wheel so you can access the nut holding the steering wheel onto the steering column, and the phillips head is to take off the screws that hold the plastic covers on the column.

Its a 30 min job if you have all the tools you might need. (wheel puller/impact gun or breaker bar). The nut that holds the wheel on can be difficult to take off and the wheel sometimes likes to stay on the splines. Other than that...no issues.

One tip to help with getting your new wheel straight:

After putting on the new wheel, only snug the retaining nut and go for a SLOW (<15mph) drive around the block. If it needs to be adjusted, go home or stop in a gas station to remove the wheel, adjust left or right a spline or two, and re-snug the wheel. Once its in a good position go home and put the kung-fu grip on it.

It's easy, buy a ebay hub and the wheel off drflickner ht sponser.
Here's a pic, You can pm me if you need help

1 pop open the h emblem with a screwdriver
2 use an extension and a 19 mm socket to loosen the nut
3 pull wheel off
4 put hub on and loosely tighten nut nut
5 put wheel on with correct spacing ring for horn button
6 connect horn button and install
7 done, adjust till centered
The horn is easy, it's only two wires that have to make a circuit, or a spring clip to ground. For example

Hub = Ebay ($20)...unless you want bling or a detachable wheel

Wheel = Look in the vendor marketplace for ideas...or if you want OG, ebay has a few deals every now and then.
