Default New here, my k20 eg build...

Well im new on here,

Im from Ireland, and have a k20 swapped civic eg,

Pics bellow with the updates as i go along,

Any tips or help will be great thanks,

A friend of mine got the conversion done by a company here in Irealand (www.icetronix.com)

He then put the car up for sale and at the time i was in the market for a new car, so i ended up buying it from him,

Here are a couple of pictures of when i first had it,

The car in general was grand but i wanted to tidy up a few things,

Car was fully resprayed in evo 9 blue,
Mugen front lip,
Type r rear lip,
Duck bill spoiler,

The spec of the car consits of,
k20a2, ctr engine,
Hassport engine mounts,
Hassport drive shafts,
3inch CAI,
Dc sports swap manifold,
Skunk2 mega power exhaust,
Hondata kpro,
Prelude rad,
AEM fuel rail,
AEM FPR,
Uprated fuel pump,

Wheels are 15" lenso,
Brakes are based on the prelude 2.2 calipers and discs,
Standard rear discs,
Front are rear strut braces,

Evo 7 recaro seats,
BLack dash from JDM sir,
Sir clocks,
DC2 itr steering wheel,

I had a few things i wanted to do with the car,

The majority of the bushings were all shot so i go myself a det of poly bushings for the car,
The car was only lowered on lowering springs so i bought a set of bc racing coilvers,

More recently ive finally got some new wheels for the car, i was never the biggest fan of the ones that were on the car so i picked up some weds sport tc-05's

Couple of pics aftrer a polish one weekend,

Next thing ive done is i sold the evo recaros and got some ITR dc2 recaros instead, i find them alot more comfortable and i can put the seats forward to let people in the back because they came out of a coupe rather than the 4 doors of an evo,

Ive also picked up some skunk 2 front camber kit, and got a set of amber indicators,
I also bought an RBC intake manifold and a karcept adapter for my tb,

Im hopefully going to put the wheels on tmrw some time,

I ordered a spoon lip so that will be going on whenever it comes and i get it sprayed,

Im probarly forgetting a few bits and pieces, but ill update if it comes into my mind,

Ive a few plans for the car after xmass, but ill have to wait and see how things are on the job front first,

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the comments,

Ran into a bit of a problem fitting the wheels at the weekend,

They are actually of a dc2 ITR so they are 4 X 114.3 and my hubs are 4 X 100

So i have to change my hubs to suit the wheels,
Hopefully ill get this done fri/saturday, my spoon lip arrived today so ive to get that srpayed to suit,

I fitted my RBC intake, its very tight for space ill have to take a notch out of the webbing under the hood so it will close easier,
It seems to have made a nice difference, better gains to be had from it once its mapped hopefully.

Small few updates,

New mugen Shocks,

Thanks to local Lad Ollie Burke sorted me out with ITR rear LCA's and Rear ITR ARB.

Well i fitted them yesterday,
Only had one really stiff bolt on the last shock i was doing,

I tried them on the hardest setting last night, way way too hard, but they it does feel alot better going in and out of corners,
2 min job to adjust the damper settings,
The ITR ARB is alot thicker than the standard one,
I have to get the rubber brackets that fix it to the rear sub frame, since its thicker the old ones wont fit around the bar,

Had to do a bit of work on the brakes today,
My drivers side rear caliper was sticking and wouldnt wind back so it got the bin and i put a new one on,
Brakes were a bit soft after so i had to bleed them today,
Had to change over the front 2 calipers as the last lad who put them on put them on the wrong side,
And i was wondering why i had no pedal when the bloody things were full of air.
Best do it yourself!!
2 17mm bolts and a 14 for the brake hose and off she comes,
Once again big thanks to Ollie Burke (Honda Heavan) in Galway fof letting me use his lift and giving me a hand with bleeding the brakes,
Couple of pics from earlier.

Had a few things to tidy up today,
So i ended up taking out the whole dash,
Between the alarm and the extra wires for the ECU i really need to cable tie them up out of the way,
I hadnt taken the dash out before so since it was a nice day i thought why not,
Couple of pics below,
If you didnt know about the screw behind the hazard button you would more than likely crack something,
Any way couple of pics below of the mess,

I hope to change the door card material at some stage to match the seats and the carpet,

So if it comes off in one piece ill keep it for you.

Ill be keeping the black door pannels though.
