After installing a Meagan stainless steel header my CB exhaust is hitting the rear lower control arm. It makes a banging noise when I cold start, and then there is a constant noisy vibration. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do to fix it?
are all your hangers in place and hooked up to the cat back? Sounds like you're missing the one behind the rear bumper and the one just behind the rear control arm. I don't see how a downpipe/header could affect the height of the cat-back if all the hangers are there.

As far as I know yes! The only thing that changed was the header.
my 400 dollar vibrant axle over muffler hit my crossmember. I don't think money has much to do with it. Easy fix though, use your noodle! Its not rocket science. Or maybe you have the muffler on upside down LOL

are the heights (drop) of the header different between the two? Maybe one had different drop distance and is pivoting the muffler out of posistion. Take a picture from the side and front and post if you can figure out how to do that (its not always easy lol

I could not take a pic but I notice that the exhaust is extremely loose. The sound goes away if I move it around but it comes back.
there is suppose to be some movement in the whole exhaust from side to side. Not soo much up to down.
This thread has been going on long enough. The issue should not be that hard of a fix.
I think you're only hope if you can't figure out yourself is to find a way to take a pic so we can see what the hell ur doing lol. Could be the length of your cat too. It could be pushing your whole setup further back or bring it more forward which can cause issues.
What cat do you have on your car?
