Default Dropped

Thoughts on how much this R has been lowered? Maybe those who went to the SFITRCA Memorial Park meet will step in. This was a sweet R. Just wondering how much from stock it has been lowered, or appears to be?

Hey Jon:
not sure if this is your pic, but it's probably best to get permission from the owner of the car if it's okay to post since the license plate is plainly visible.

yshi - whose just trying to protect the CW owner

the owners a good friend of mine and yes he thanks you for blocking his plate #.

I forget what height the car was back then since he's running a new suspention now. Back then I think it was a Skunk suspention, currently I believe its a Zeal setup. I dunno...

Here's some current pictures from a track day we had a week ago which shows his current height:

Now I see why the JDM front end is described as the G2 front end to me when I was first introduced to it.

Haha, looks great. I guess a 1.5 drop it is. Are you just running the springs with the stock shocks?

yeah dont listen to spoon when they said .75 inch drop. It's actually more like 1.25-1.5 inches.

Yeah I'm using the Spoon springs with the stock shocks. It's designed to work with teh stock shocks.

I have confirmed that Spoons are designed to work with the stock shocks, as you just told me.. but I am interested in the H&R's, as they are supposed to also be good, and are slightly cheaper. Are the H&R's just as easy on the stock shocks?

I don't know about the H&R's but my Spoon springs have been on for over 4k miles. Still a very stiff ride and not bouncy just like the day i installed them.

You got the ricer part down but the spoon springs give the car the perfect drop.

I would say either the Spoon or the KG/MM springs. They both offer the about the same drop hieght, and about the same rates. The KG/MM are a little cheaper though. I had them for a few weeks, and sold them for the Tein's but i would have to say, best set of springs i have ever had.
