Icon2 Pro-rata warranty??

Hi guys. I am looking to buy a car battery and I'm confused with the warranty they come with. Can someone tell me what "Pro-Rata Warranty" means?? Interstate battery for a 99 Honda civic has a 75 months Pro-rata warranty. What does this mean?? Do they give you a free replacment or what??

It's probably a pro-RATE warranty. Same deal. It might have a 2 year free-replacement warranty and a 75 month pro-rate warranty. That means after the 2 years is up, you won't get an entire battery for free... you will only get a partial credit towards a new battery depending on how long you've had the battery. If you have had the battery for over 75 months, you'll get no credit towards a new battery. Take it to where ever they honor that warranty and they will figure everything out for you...
