I got an obd0 to obd1 conversion on a b18c in an ef hatch and the battery light is always on, even with the key out of the ignition. so obviously there is a wiring issue. I want to know if anyone has any ideas or has had this problem before and knows what's wrong

 

is the alternator belt even on?

 

yea it's on, the light is on with the key out of the ignition. If i unplug the big green plug on the alternator the light goes out with it plugged in it's on.
It's driving me nuts. the car won't run and i'm assuming that this has something to do with it...or it'll run but won't go past 2500 rpms

 

Call the person you got the conversion harness from. Or get your alt checked.
