i put in a 91 civic si hb cluster gauges into my 91 dx hatchback and the plug seem to fit into place. the rpm gauges doesnt work. plus when i used my turn signal instead of being in the arrow, it flashes at the oil light so now im lost. if anyone can help me out it'll be really great. thanks

 

if both were 91's, then it should work. Ive done 91 to 91 with absolutly no modifications and everything worked.

You probably have a cluster whose year does not match. If you have access to the car where the cluster came from, check the vin, because it might be a different year.

You may be able to fix the problem by re pinning the stock harness, but you might want to have a wiring diagram for the 2 different years handy to match things up.

 

so then even tho my car is a dx, the si cluster gauges should be a plug and play? i dont know what year it came off cause when i bought the car a month ago the guy just gave me the cluster gauge along with the car and said it was from a 91 crx si.
