Car won't start
1990 civic hatch with a 1994 b16, stock everything...The motor dies one second after I start it. It starts up successfully sometimes.. but it is inconsistent. I don't know alot.. But, I can spot a problem. The hose from the intake tube to the valve cover isn't completely sealed. The clamp/tie thing isn't sqeezing it. Would this cause the car to die? Another thing.. I'm running a b16 with a stock size aluminum core radiator. and i can smell and see the fluid burning/evaporating. I am Not sure if it the heat is burning the old residue or if the radiator is burning it. My fan doesn't go on either.
-Why is the car dying?
-Why is there radiator fumes?
-Whats up with my fan?

no, that would not cause the car to die.
to start and run, the car needs air, fuel, spark, and compression.
Your best bet is to observe any Check Engine Light(s) (CELs) and let us know what they are. If you have any CEL, then fix the problem reported by the CEL. Once you have no CELs and it still isnt starting, let us know what you find.
You need to extend the wiring for the thermoswitch for the fan. once you do that, your stock fan should work once again.
how are you seeing the radiator "burning" stuff? the readiator should be totally sealed when you run it. you are probably seeing steam from the water evaporating from the temperature, which would be considered normal if you run the engine without a radiator cap for a period of time.

There is no CEL right now.
I'm not sure how to say this "technically correct" but..
My car was throwing a CEL after I completed the swap.
The problem was from the ground wire in my wiring harness was faulty.
I spliced the wire and re-grounded it to my fuel rail and no more CEL. woot..!
I have started the motor at least 20 times since the swap.
And now start #21 is a failure..#22, #23 etc.
I have no idea if the 'cheap ground' would cause the problem of the car not starting..
I'm in the process of getting the vehical BAR'ed and Registered.
So all of this sudden mishaps are very inconvienient.
I just want the baby to start..
