New to FI *help plz*
Okay so I'm not new to FI in general...just new to the concept of FI and Honda together! A TOTAL newbie when it comes to FI Hondas so please be nice. I'm trying to be smart about the way I approach things so I don't get flamed too hard!
Scenario:
I drive a 96 teg RS. Its immediately apparent to me that going NA can get much more expensive then going FI which I'm not opposed to in any way, and to be honest...I'm just not the biggest fan of VTEC. So I feel like i have a perfect power plant to work w/on my 1.8l engine. Just searching for more power...but nothing too extreme as i'd like to run stock block/pistons, 250-275 hp would be ideal.
If I want to go FI would it be more beneficial to purchase a kit in a whole (such as Greddy, turbonetics,...etc) or would it be better to separately piece items together and create a kit of my own??? (which could surely get price)
If I'm trying to have my cake and eat it too let me know...like I said, new to this concept.
Thanks in advance!

you can save some money if you shop around and build your own kit, but if your not sure what all you need you may be better off going with a kit. read threw this thread and see what people are running will give you a good idea of the setup you may want. https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/lst-ls-t-turbo-b18a-b18b-setups-1323059/
also check the FI marketplace can get some nice kits or deals on individual pieces https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-49/
keep it simple your first time, lots of people try to piece their own kit together and lose interest before its completed and end up selling the stuff cheap. I say stick with a kit or do lots and lots of research before you buy anything....
