03 Accord Radio Works, no CD Player

03 Accord Radio Works, no CD Player
The battery died on our '03 Accord, and required radio code reset, resulting in the radio working, but 6 CD system is non-operational. This is the 2nd radio installed in this car, and just exceeded the warranty period (installed 12/1/05). Any ideas of how to wake up the CD system? I have disconnected the battery and reset the code several times with no luck.
