Default can valves re seat on there own?

so yea i money shifted the othernight from 4th into 3rd and after i got a loud ticking and exhaust chuggg at idle. trew a bottle of lucus topend cleaner in it and not the ticking is basically compleatlly gone.....weird. do you think the valve just jumped back into its seat or what are you ideas???

no more than likely the valve lash is out of spec now as well. how do you know u have bent valve(s)

yeah if it runs fine now, just measure leakdown, and check lash too see maybe if the valves have sank into the seats? or just keep driving it and not care
