So yesterday i swapped my p75 head for a pr4 head because 4 valves were bent on the p75... we put everything back together and we checked pretty much everything and its all connected, we try to start it and she'll crank over and sometimes turn on ,when she does turn on ill hold her at wide open throttle and she wont even reach idle rpm's she'll just lump for a few seconds and then die, i dont have a check engine light or nothing and we messed with the dizzy at every position possible and she still wont start... we checkd to see if she was getting spark and we heard the spark plug wires shooting the spark to the spark plugs i dunno what the hell it could be, any1 got any suggestions? run into this problems before thanks

Have you checked your cam timing?

 

Yup, everything is timed right.

 

If your getting spark and fuel, and your timing is right, then your compression is probably shot.

Have you had the cylinders pressure tested?

 

how likely is it for my block to mess up in the couple of hours it took to swap a head?
