Are you lookin for cost for a shop to do the work? Or a diy? There's so many variables in either, color you want, quality of paint, estimated shop hours($40-80/hr here) cost of estimated material usage. You could spend anywhere from 1,000 and up depending on quality. What color were you wanting done?

Well you are going to need atleast a gallon of paint to do the whole complete outer shell. Dont strip all the paint off the car, unless you have to. Get some 240 grit, go over the car with it, than before you spray, go over it with a 4-500 grit, to get rid of the big scratches from the lower grit.

full color changes at our shop start at 3k and can go up from there depending on severity of bodywork, paint schemes, colors, etc. But we also use high quality materials and do show quality work with a lifetime warranty against any defects, and a lifetime materials warranty backed by Dupont against and defects. You can either get a quality paint job that will last forever and look amazing. or pay less and get a shitty paint job with low quality materials and crappy prep and finish work and have to look at a dissapointing car the rest of the time you own it. That choice is up to you. In the paint world. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Thats right, you get what you pay for. For my car, a 90 hatch, $2500 was quoted. And thats if its painted the same color. Includes prep, body work, paint, etc.
