HKS dual tip?????
I have read in some magazines (Honda Tuning) that this exhaust system that really looks great on the EF is discontinued. Is it true cause i found this:

i am (in the near future) going to do a B16A swap and I am wondering if this exhaust will work for that swap...i really like the OEM look with the dual tip. if anyone has this exhaust in their EF please if you can supply some pics. As for now i can only drool for it when i see it on the EF SCC mag.

The link doesn't work but I know the exhaust you're talking about. You'll have a very hard time finding one, an even harder time finding one in decent shape. It'd be great with a b16, but I don't think the performance of it would be justified with the effort finding it and the price you'd end up paying
this sounds way better

Got mine from option auto last week.(not hard to get at all) Got it in less than a week. I think they have free shipping right now. I paid like $400. It should be good with a b16, but the piping is only 2in... I only got a zc right now, but it sounds, fits, looks and feels great.it's the plainest aftermarket exhaust I've installed. There's not even a logo ANYWHERE on it.... Which is why I love it

How did he do that exactly? Did he just replace the piping and step it down at the resonator/muffler or did he make a whole new exhaust but keep the tips or what?

hks exhaust ftw
The exhaust looks great and sounds very nice! Too bad it is very expensive! The best bang for your buck would have to be a es muffler with bigger piping IMO. But none the less hks is a great choice!
just go to an exhaust shop and have the exhaust custom done, from my knowledge from the exhaust guys is as stated. A mandrel bent exhaust does NOTHING to add performance to the exhaust!!!! want to know why??? the mandrel bending maching costs 30,000 dollars to buy! so the exhaust company/ shop will have to somehow make money to pay it back thus making an exhaust system that costs hundreds. So having a manually bent exhaust is the exact same equivalent as an aftermarket brand name stainless steel exhaust. What happens is that many people go to cheap shops and get shitty jobs done, or shitty setups done.
its the fact of opinion.
you can either spend hundreds on the same type of piping from hks
or go to your local muffler shop and spend 275 bucks for 2.5 inch piping from cat back to a muffler and out with dual tip. or 2.5 inch piping from cat back to a flange to stock piping.
brand names dont make power but quality and time. cause other than that, that piping looks stock.
