I know the crv wheels will fit and I think the mazda millieum wheels will also fit but are there any other wheels out there that will fit without spacers?

I went to 3 junk yards today and none of them had crv wheels or the mazda wheels. Just looking for a really cheap set of steel wheels to mount my snow tires on.

Any help would be great.

Just look for anything 5x114.3 pattern, and check offset and size before purchasing.

 

make sure the center bore is correct. check car-part.com for wheels

 

i had snow tires on the jdm 16's.

 

I think people have used Prelude wheels also..............

 

I'm running 15" Accord V6 wheels for the winter. I have to use spacers in the rear to clear the upper controle arms.

 

Thanks for the responses guys. I am looking to know what year and make and model of the car will also fit. Not looking to buy new rims online just to go to the junk yard and get them. So if a 97 nissan maxima for example would fit then I could go get those rims.

i picked up 3 sets from a couple junkyards around here at an average cost of $200/set.

edit: see you already looked into the millenia option. apparently they're becoming tougher to find, since a lot of the shops scrapped them when aluminum prices were high. in any case, i wouldn't call oregon/washington the mazda capital of the country, but i had no problems finding them. definitely use car-part.com, very useful.

 

I think the ones I found were newer b/c they were all 16 inch wheels. I need 15's b/c I have 15 inch snow tires. I will check out a few junk yards though for those. How about the 626 or 929? I found a few sets of them in 5 lug but was unsure if it would fit.

 

You can also look for RSX Base-model take off's. They're steelies (with hubcaps if you want). and i believe they're 15"

 

Apparently only in Canada, because in the US all base RSXen had 16" aluminum wheels standard.

 

In Canada, only the 01-03's had the 15" take offs.

06-08 Civics will work too.

42700-SNE-A01 is the part number I think.

Is that a list of wheels that are known to fit the ITR? Or is it simply a list of wheels with the same bolt pattern (and hopefully counterbore and suitable offset...?) that might or might not fit?

Most of those wheels listed are going to be so heavy lol. There goes your fuel mileage...

 

A difference of a few pounds per wheel isn't going to have any significant effect on fuel mileage.

You can look up center bores (and approximate offsets) for a lot of OEM wheels on this website.

And you can look up photos for a lot of OEM wheels by "browsing the online retail catalog" on this website.

 

the split 5 spoke crv wheels off the 03s are very light. they should fit with no problems.
or you can look for a set of 15 inch infinity q45 wheels. they are made by bbs and are stupid light.

i have a set on my accord. they are so much lighter then the stock steelies.

 

Those q45 wheels would look good for some winter tires mounted on them.

 

 

Yes, the 15" 929 wheels (12 spoke) will fit. I use them for autox when I can't find Millenias.
