tranny questions
i have two trannys here..on the little plated they both say s1 ########(random numbers) one is "stamped" a1..how do i know what these trannys came from.

Well, the A1 and S1 will help narrow it down some. The A1 is from a USDM B18A and the S1 could be either from a USDM B18A or a JDM B16. One way to tell the difference is by figuring out the gear ratios.
