Bought new, car has 2200 miles. Not driven hard at all.

Intermittently - doesn't seem to matter weather, or temperature - the car won't start on the first try... turns over, runs for a second, and dies. Then it starts fine on the second try, no problems. I have also have had it do this after sitting for a few minutes after a short trip.

It feels like the car is starving itself of fuel for some reason on that first try.

I took it to the dealer, they pulled the codes and said nothing was wrong.

I am *not* a mechanic, so suggestions, as I'm about to take it back to the dealer again.

 

If your car wasn't throwing any codes, of course your dealer isn't going to find anything by just "pulling the codes". Go back and tell them you want the problem fixed.

 

Garaged + cold weather? Only had it happen twice this past year because I didn't drive the car for about a week and the weather was cold.

When you mention "intermittently", how often does it happen?
