Thank you for even opening this, any advice is welcomed.
CAR- 91 EF with B16a and LS trans
Before hand info- I bought this car not running, the old owner said the tranny was bad so i swapped a LS tranny in. It has been sitting for a few months.
I try to start it - nothing
So i get a used starter from a friend i test it outside of the car and its good
try to jump start it... i hear the starter clicking but motor doesnt turn over.
THE CEL DOES NOT COME ON at all ???
the light on the ECU flashs once when the key is in the ignition
I check with the volt meter... batteries good
grounds good
fuses good
motor turns over manually
not getting spark and i hear the fuel pump coming on
im getting volts to the starter
and the ground is good
thanks for any help!!!!! or any suggestions or test

make sure the rotor is in good shape andnot just flopping around, and make sure its got the screw in there... and the cap is in good condition as well.
If so get your helms or chiltons or whatever.. lol.
Diagnose the ignitor/coil...
