ok, i replaced the 30 amp fuses.
still nothing.
but the old fuses were sooo corroded in the fuse holder...
so i have no clue if the thingy on the battery is actually still good.

^ Honda tries very hard to weasle out of it. They wanted to charge me $60/hr to diagnose or something, then if it was covered I'd pay nothing. If it wasn't I'd have to pay out my *** for all the fee's.
What I did was push the slider to the position where it's supposed to be when you're driving, then pull the fuse.
Not enjoying the chimes? behind the center console there's a black box, it's rectangular. Open it from the passenger side (unscrew the plastic screw and pop out clip), pop the lid off, and pull out the connector closest to the engine.
There should be 2 connectors in there, you wanna pull the one that's farther from you. This stops the chimes.

I rewired mine in my '90 EX sedan.
I just cut the wires...checked for corrosion/continuity, and put in two new fuse holders and fuses and wired them in and mine worked again.

I had to do the same on mine. The fuse box at the battery had degraded so bad it fell apart when I pulled the terminal. After redoing it the belts moved faster and quieter than they ever had before.
