Default hesitation/bogging under partial throttle, double yew tee eff

So basically all the sudden my car goes from driving perfectly fine, to acting like its running on a tank of fumes.

i've read around and i'm thinking its either a fuel pump going out, tps on the fritz, or possibly an o2 sensor after having read through this thread.

I can tell you basically though what exactly happened and maybe it'll help. i went to work this morning and i thought i was low on fuel because my fuel gauge was getting around that area where i tend to run out of fuel lol. not E because my sender unit has always been a little off, so its always a guessing game when i will run out. i still thought it was odd because i appeared to be empty with not to many miles on this tank. once i filled up i also came up about a gallon short of what i usually get in the tank. either way i was able to determine that my mpg from this tank was pretty lame, like 22mpg (maybe this is a sign the o2 is crappin out?). After that i drove to work (5 min drive) and it was perfectly fine. i didn't think anything of it. Then on my way home from work, after running maybe 6-7 minutes (engine was at normal operating temp by now), it started doing this hesitation like i was completely out of gas again, which of course i knew was not possible. i tried to get it to hesitate under heavier/wot conditions but it seems to only do it while under fairly light throttle while the rpms are in the 2-3k range. So now i'm not sure what the hell is going on.

I have no check engine light either before, during, or after any of this shenanigans was going on. i have a multimeter so i can check the TPS and see if it does a smooth sweep from .5 - 4.5v. If that turns out ok, then i'm not sure how to narrow it down from either the o2 sensor or fuel pump. either way i dont have spare o2's or fuel pumps lying around, so i would hate to purchase the wrong thing and end up wasting money.

Hopefully someone can help me narrow down whats wrong with my car :/

ninja edit: it seems odd that if the fuel pump was going out how was i able to redline it like 3 time. but as soon as i get to the light partial throttle at 2-3k area it starts acting up. so maybe thats pointing towards a tps/or o2 being the culprit. at this point i dunno yet. i have to go somewhere now but if i get a chance to check the tps with the multimeter later i will do so.

have you tries changing the fuel filter or checking your cap and rotor??? Maybe its poor flow or bad spark under minimal throttle.
