Default OEM Front struts are bad

My car now has 64k miles on it and before i hit 50k i took it to the dealer and complained of noises. The blew me off. Now my right front is leaking and the left one has marks form the spring making contact with it, hence the noises. This should be covered under waranty since i complained of the problem before the waranty ran out. My dealer here says it's normal wear and that the marks on the left are from the rubber dust cover, but that does not explain the spring showing signs of wear as well. I've called Acura client services and am waiting on a call back. Anyone have experience with this? Any idea what i should do next?

If there is any record of your complaint--either in service paperwork that you have or in the dealers computer--you should be able to get Honda to cover it for you. You may have to get a bit heavy handed with your service advisor, and you may have to contact Honda customer service directly, but you should be able to get the repair taken care of free of charge.
