i have a qiuck question...

i bought a set of 5 lug from a member on another site for very cheap becuase everything thing in the front needed to be changed...

so i bought new lower ball joints, new hubs, hub bearing, rotors and calipers.....
so i install the 5 lug and i hear a humming noise, sort of the kind the kind that u get when u have bad wheel bearings.... but it cant be becuase the bearings are brand new....

so my question is can this noise be comming from the axel... the axels are bad and they need to be changed.. but will tem being bad make this noise.

 

Check and see if the rotor is rubbing against the caliper bracket

 

axles don't make humming noises, could be your wheel bearings which is a cheap part to replace anyways, $35 or so at the local auto store.

 

it was aftermarket buy it was a higher quality one... i paid 78 bucks for each

 

there is some marks on the rotor it could be this.... how would i fix this?

 

anyone?

 

go to an alignment shop... see if something off balance... diagnose from there
