On that link is the story. I want to do the trade but here is the kick since I just dropped a brand new ITR motor in my car we agreed that he would swap his old motor in my car and my new motor in his car. Then I could have a new R. But the problem is what do I value my car at Bluebook on a 99 si is 15,500 in my area but I have a ITR motor progress coilovers custom IS300 graphite grey pearl paint and rotas, cross drilles slotted rotors, progress 22mm rear sway bar, CTR headlights, vis CF hood, Apex N1 exhaust, CTR gauge cluster.
My ? is what should I sell my car to him for?
thing is I dont know what he owes on his loan but I owe 4500 on mine so how do we sell to each other that would be the best way so we both benifit I know we have ot pay tax on it but we can just say we payed 500 for each others cars to the stupid state. Man I am confused and need help I want to become a happy SOCAL ITR owner like all of you

you really want an R that bad?
I must say you will need to know all of the figures to make a fair transaction, BUT as for saying you only payed $500 for the car to get away with the taxes It could spell trouble... atleast say 3-6k
good luck and I hope we will be welcoming you to the R club soon.
