Just wanted to know what you guys are pushing out with basic bolt ons. Turbo guys are welcome to brag too.

I did 176whp but not sure if the numbers were correct. I just did a free dyno at the track and held the record for a day then was beat out by a s2k @ 180whp.

My mods: dcrh, aem cai, custom exhaust pipe with apexi n1 muffler

 

that dont sound right at all.with all those mod you only making 176??

With a base I think it would be closer to 160 at best. Hes either got a factory freak base, or maybe he pulled on a mustang dyno? I've hered those dynos to put out low numbers, but be better for tuning.

 

no i got type s. dont know what the dyno is but planning to re-dyno again soon. then i post pix and see what the real numbers are.

 

i was around 305 200 on my last na build, im done till after college tho, my basic bolt on and oversized itr pistons got me to 224 164

I would hope a Type S with bolt ons doesn't only put out 176WHP considering I've seen EP3s with bolt ons pushing around 160WHP with just bolt ons and the Type S puts out 50 more crank HP than the EP... And an S2000 only putting out 180WHP? Does anyone else find it weird that it would have a 60HP loss?

Yeah like i said the numbers seemed kinda wierd for me too but i think after i go and re-dyno on the 2nd I will let you all know.

 

S2K with only 180whp is a total lost...that sucker should bury his S2K and move on...

well with aem cai, comptech shorty header, greddy evo 2 exhaust and kpro pushing 219whp 150tq on a mustang dyno. but with only my cai and aem tru power pullys i was at 196whp so something must be right with that dyno.

 

my guess untuned gt35 is 350 lol.

 

That seems way off. I remember seeing a guy who dyno'd at 180whp bone stock on an '05 back in the day. Of course, every dyno is different.

 

Well i figured that since i live a mile up from sea level it affects me diffrerently. Seeing as how rsx in cal run like what 14.8 or something like that there. My best time on the track was 15.8. Like i said though, im gonna go dyno again to see what the numbers really are.

 

It sounds like the cars were dynoed on a mustang dyno. A stock type s only puts out about 150 on a mustang dyno

 

i put out 200whp with CAI, DCRH, HKS hi-power, k-pro

 

202whp on K20A2 with AEM RSX-S CAI, DCRH, Apex- WS2, and Kpro. An un-modded 03 RSX-S put down 167whp right after me...

 

201 bhp.

dyno numbers need to be listed with the dyno they were achieved on in order to accurately compare numbers.

Dyno numbers don't mean **** since you only list your peak power and I'm not a believer in them. But.... I put down 209whp and 174lbs torque on a mustang dyno.

 

I put out as often as possible.

 

What!? I thought they put out at least 170-180 range...

My EP K20A3 put out 153WHP on a dynapack with CAI, Shorty Header and HKS Hi-power Exhaust...
