I have a 97 prelude base with a very good amount of head work done and intake and a 75 shot kamakazie ceramic header and race cat but my exhaust from cat-back is still stock but i have a HKS univesal - should i go with 2.25 inch exhaust or 2.5 inch - and what would the pro's and cons be

absolutely sure.

 

2.5 is the biggest you should go N/A. i know you are running NOS, but you wont run nos 24-7, unless you like paying $35 a refill 3 times a day. Anyways, anywhere from 2.33 to 2.5 will suit you just fine for exhaust diameter. Tanabe and apexi are my exhausts of choice.
