Hey guys..I have a friend that has his taillights tinted with a smoke paint OR tint (Not too sure which) But he wants to get it removed because hes had it with the 5-0's on his *** about it. I researched it, and I seemed to have found legit ways to remove the tint/paint..but my friend would like to use acetone and rubbing alcohol..because we have those supplies at home. I know this is probably not a good idea in the long run because the chemicals may disturb the plastic later on in the future.

He was told by another friend that a mixture of acetone and rubbing alcohol would do the trick, and may not hurt the plastic? I was wondering if that is true, and how much he should mix together.

Anyways, if this makes sense to you guys, we would appreciate the help.
