Icon2 How easy to replace a fuel pump?

I need to replace a fuel pump for my 88 CRX but have never done so for this car. Do I need to drop the tank or can i remove the pump from the interior of the car where the fuel pump pigtail is? Like there is a flange underneath the storage compartment with three screws that sits right over the tank. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

When I replaced mine in my CRX, I dropped the tank. Dropped the tank in my 4-door as well. It's not too difficult...just do your research, and make sure you disconnect all the lines before dropping the tank.

Good luck.
