Anyone running EK rear lip and Exhaust, need suggestions.
I hate asking questions like this cause everyone flames you and calls you a ricer but i couldn't find anything in the search so here goes. Iv'e been running the the civic optional rear lip on my 2000 coupe and just got a skunk2 invidia exhaust. The exhaust has a really nice tone but the damn thing melted my rear lip.
The problem is, the exhaust was made to hug the stock bumper really close but not with the lip. It would look and fit perfect without the lip but it deosn't stick out enough with the lip and vented all the hot fumes right into my lip. I am about to order another lip but i will need to get another exhaust. I can probably trade mine but i need to know what exhaust will work with my rear lip. I'm thinking maybe tanabe racing medallion or apexi n1, but i need to know if they stick out far enough. Pics would help but i hate sounding like a ricer. Later guys.

how about you keep keep your muffler and get a custom job done on the pipes. Muffler shops can do about anything . They can make your muffler stick out more less , up and down.
yup, thats what im gonna do in the next few weeks, WW RS rear lip does not fit with the exhaust right now, but i have a muffler shop that said would lower it to fit, pretty cheep too.
yea, take your car to a muffler shop and have them adjust the position of your exhaust. Im guessing you just need to bring it out 1"-1 1/2"s and point it down a little. It shouldnt cost much, and it will solve your problem.
hmm. I just don't want them to cut anything cause it really is a nice exhaust, but i guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
