EG Seats in a EF
I have done it! Without changing seat pans, too. It provides a fixed headrest, and that weird one sided headrest arm, but it was relatively easy, I had the seats lying around, and I no longer have to worry about foam pellets all over my carpet. Because this works for both passenger and driver, I will not be talking about left or right, only inside and outside. EG. For the drivers side left bolts, those are the outside, and the right bolts, are the inside, and conversely for the passenger. What you do for the driver is bolt the front inside bolt, 3 or 4 threads down. Then the rear outside, again loosely. Now for the front outside, you actually need to stretch the mount outward. I did this by wrapping a rag around the leg while pulling outward and putting the third bolt in. Now crank all those bolts down, they will slightly bend the metal tabs but not by much. Now for the inside rear mount, you need too get a little creative. What I did was cut a small piece of 3/16 steel, and drill two holes about 3/4 of an inch apart. The original bolt goes through one end to the orignal floor mount, and the other end goes to the seat mount with a nut and bolt. Voila, you are done. Enjoy your updated seats!
You could do the washer trick on the outside mounts so you dont have to tighten so much and bend the tabs, but like I said, the bending isn't that bad. It actually works quite well. The stock original EF seat buckle will fit in the EG seat latch.
It's not that bad. The seats sit centrally in relation to the steering wheel and honestly feel a lot like to EF seats. I don't know if there is a difference between the EF and the EG bolsters, but I like em.

I will not disagree with you, I really like my stock seat, but I hate the fact that the tear on the left bolster is a huge eyesore, and I have to vacuum a lot due to the bits and pieces of foam being left around. I have 2 sets of EG Si seats just lying around and in mint condition so I figured why not? The rear mount is bolted in, that is just a picture of how far off the mount is from the hole that you have to make a bracket for. 3 mounts is completely unstable and I wouldn't even drive it to the hardware store to get the steel to make the bracket for. Also, if you don't want to make this a permanent solution, and actually want your seat belt light to work properly, you have to make a jumper harness from the EG seat latch, or take off the cover outside of the latch, and put the EF one on the EG seat.
I second the picture request. Yeah, I am pleased it's a 90, but the door mounted seatbelts are a pain and caused damage to my door panel before I got the car. I am 6 foot even, but I like to sit a little closer to the steering wheel than most because I like to depress the clutch fully.

I only have 1 bolt holding in my EG seats in my EF
