You might have better luck in this area of Honda Tech.

it's a pretty easy job. the interior fuse box is on the driver's side under the dash and has a couple of accessory positive terminals, there's also a factory ground point near there which is convenient use a multimeter to find the post that's only on when the key is on the on position and you're good to go.

then run the power line up the A pillar and across to the V1. I pulled my A pillar cover off and that made the job simple, it just snaps off, start at the top and b nice to it to get the wire the rest of the way to the V1 go across the top and just tuck the wire behind the cover. actually start at the V1 and work your way back to the power source, then you'll have your slack down where you can hide it.

for the ground look for a 10mm bolt with a bunch of factory ground wires already going to it. it's on the fender wall to the left of the fuse box.

there is a nice DIY on s2ki.com that shows the 10mm ground bolt and which slot to tap into on the fuse block. i did mine that way. very easy and painless! no cutting/splicing wires.

my v1 resides just to the left of my rearview mirror, you can't even see it from outside of the car. only drawback is that i can't use my sun visor, but i'm too tall for that **** anyways.

my buddy showed me that, it's pretty cool. it would probably work on our mirrors but the suction cup mount works so well I figured why pay the money.

the way they show the V1 is where I have mine mounted. nice and high but doesn't block the visors and is still in reach to hit the mute button.

theres wiring instructions somewhere online my tip is you don't need to take the plastic off the pillar you can just push/tuck the wire in

i got an $800 ticket the other day I might send mine back

I do not like radar detectors mounted at the top of the windshield on the S. Too easy to steal when the top is down and it sticks out like a sore thumb there. I mounted mine in the center down low, and tucked the wire behind the dash. I have the concealed display mounted to the left of the radio door, in the perfect spot to reach with out taking my hand of the shifter.
