Icon2 Intermittent starting problem

I have a CRX with ZC engine. Nothing special about the setup. The problem is that randomly the car will refuse to start. It cranks fine but will not "catch". It seems to happen more often in hot weather. I can drive all day long, park it to get something to eat, get back into the car and then be unable to start it. It has yet to totally refuse to start (after waiting a few minutes) but one day it will probably leave me stranded. It acts like it is flooded (I grew up during the carburetor days). I can wait a few moments and then it starts up with no problems. My first thought was a leaking injector. I then replaced all injectors with new units. It seems to happen less frequently but it still occurs. I have also replaced the regulator on the fuel rail, the fuel filter. Also the intake temperature sensor functions fine. There are no indicators coming from the ECU.

Anyone got any ideas please??
