b16b into eg hatch need help asap
hey everyone, i just got the motor into my eg
its a 97 b16b into my 93 si
i got everything hooked up, it starts but only when you are giving it some throttle. runs extremely rough, i am using a obd2 ctr ecu with a 0bd1 to obd2a frog harness, i also have a p28 ecu, it idles on its own with the p28 ecu but does not drive, anyone have an idea of what the problem could be. i need help asap its stuck in my parents garage.

What distributor are you running? What do your plugs look like? If you're using the CTR ecu, you should be using the obd2 distributor... The P28 is going to run it like an sohc civic ex unless its chipped.
update on symptoms:
found out my TPS sensor and MAP sensor where backwards
the car now revs up freely and does not hit a 1500rpm rev limiter.
the only problem is the car will not keep an idle by itself, i have to adjust the throttle cable to keep enough tension to rev the car up a little bit to kind of sit at an idle.
the only thing that is not plugged in is the knock sensor.
what other problems could be causing the car to not want to idle itself.
we are using an OBD1 dizzy, the OBD2 one has 3 plugs on it, the OBD1 only has 2, we are using a OBD1 wiring harness.

If you are running an obd-1 dizzy, then you should be running a obd-1 ecu. If this is the case already, then try a different ecu like pr3 or p30.
